In an expansive landscape along the Scheldt in Kallo, Katoen Natie built a contemporary fortress that reflects the historical character of the area.
Burcht Singelberg takes its name from the medieval fortress that played a decisive role in the separation of the Low Countries in 1585. Of the original fortress, only a mound remains, on which today’s Burcht Singelberg has been built. The office sites form a single complex with the sculpture park surrounding the buildings. In this sculpture park, a guide takes you on a tour among works by Flemish and international artists such as Michaël Aerts, Pablo Atchugarry, Wim Delvoye, Jan Fabre, Jean-Michel Folon, Sophie Ryder, Antonio Seguí, and Atelier Van Lieshout.
