Conférence bisannuelle


Tous les deux ans, la célèbre conférence "Textiles from the Nile Valley", organisée par Dr. Cäcilia Fluck, Dr. Petra Linscheid et Prof. Dr. Antoine De Moor, a lieu au Katoen Natie HeadquARTers. Le groupe de recherche international, composé de scientifiques, conservateurs, restaurateurs et analystes de textiles, présente les développements les plus récents dans le domaine des textiles archéologiques, avec un accent sur les découvertes du 1er millénaire après JC en Égypte et dans les pays voisins.
La conférence de 2023 aura lieu 18 et 19 novembre 2023. Cette année, le thème est "Silk textiles in Egypt from the Roman to the Mamluk era”.
