Congrès international du textile

Tous les deux ans, le congrès international "Textiles from the Nile Valley" a lieu au Katoen Natie HeadquARTers, organisé par Dr. Cäcilia Fluck, Dr. Petra Linscheid et Prof. Dr. Antoine De Moor.

Ce groupe de recherche international, réunissant scientifiques, conservateurs, restaurateurs de textiles et analystes, présente les développements les plus récents dans le domaine des textiles archéologiques, avec un accent sur les découvertes datant du premier millénaire après J.-C., mises au jour en Égypte et dans les pays voisins.

Le congrès de 2025 aura lieu les 15 et 16 novembre 2025. Cette édition sera consacrée aux "Textiles à poils d'Égypte et des pays voisins". (Pile Textiles from Egypt and Neighbouring Countries).
