Internationaal textielcongres
Elke twee jaar vindt het internationale congres "Textiles from the Nile Valley" plaats in de Katoen Natie HeadquARTers. De organisatie is in handen van Dr. Cäcilia Fluck, Dr. Petra Linscheid en Prof. Dr. Antoine De Moor, in samenwerking met The Phoebus Foundation.
Een internationale onderzoeksgroep, bestaande uit wetenschappers, curatoren, conservatoren en textielanalisten, presenteert er de recentste ontwikkelingen op het vlak van archeologisch textiel, met een focus op vondsten uit het 1ste millennium na Chr. uit Egypte en haar buurlanden.
Het congres van 2025 zal plaatsvinden op 15 en 16 november 2025. Het thema van dit jaar is "Pile Textiles from Egypt and Neighbouring Countries.”
